AutoMag Foamie Replacement

Replacing the foamie on an AutoMag is quite simple. You first need to disassemble the marker to remove the bolt (an E-Mag in my case). Then clean the tip of the bolt with a scraper and then some solvent to remove any old glue, I used acetone.

The final step is to place some super glue on the tip of the bolt and firmly press the foamie on. I use tweezers to accurately place the foamie before pressing firmly. Another tip is to use a good quality brand name super glue such as “Gorilla” brand for a good service life.
