Just got back from a great day of paintball. I went to a club day held at the Paintball Games Coldstream paintball field (this field is located east of Melbourne in Australia) on the 18th. of June 2022. It’s been a few years since my last game and it was nice to get back into it.
Like club days everywhere it took some time for everyone to organise themselves. That doesn’t seem to have changed in 30 years. It’s been awhile since I’ve played bush ball and the slower pace was definitely welcome as I’m not getting any younger.
The nicest thing about club paintball is the lack of agro and attitude. Everyone was there just to have a good time. I decided to break out the some old school gear for the day too. I ran my PMI-3 in the morning and a Cocker in the afternoon. Both ran flawlessly but I had a hard time getting more than 250fps out of the PMI-3 on air.
I took a group photo of the players and as you can see mag feed is very popular now. One of the guys had a drone and took the second shot of all of us (obviously I’m the old guy on the left).
Finally I’d like to thanks everyone for a really enjoyable day out and I look forward to the next one.
